MEET JEN EISENBERG OF IVME WELLNESS + PERFORMANCE
Jen Eisenberg is Director of Operations here at IVme Wellness + Performance. While you may not always see Jen when you come into the clinic, she is always working hard in the back office or at an event, making sure the business side of the clinic is running smoothly so we can focus on giving our patients the best possible experience every time they visit.
Summer has come to a close, and we hate to say it, but that means winter — and cold and flu season — is right around the corner. While you’re packing away your sandals and swimsuits, don’t forget to take the right measures to keep yourself healthy and lower the likelihood of getting sick. IVme Wellness + Performance should be one stop on your way to staying healthy this cold and flu season.
I’ve always had a deep admiration for the work teachers do. Throughout my life, from childhood through my career, my most influential mentors have been teachers. My mother was a teacher, several of my friends are teachers, and I spent a year teaching high school before attending medical school. I’ve witnessed first-hand how much teachers care and give of themselves, often at the cost of their own health and wellbeing. This back-to-school season, I’d like to start helping teachers feel their best every day.
Starting in August, all teachers with a current school ID will receive 50% off IV hydration treatments at any of our IVme Wellness + Performance centers*.
Running a marathon is a tremendous feat both physically and mentally. Preparing for those 26.2 miles takes many months of training and fine-tuning your marathon strategy. And, as dedicated runners know, even when you cross the finish line, the work isn’t over; the recovery plan is another essential element to a successful marathon experience.
Unfortunately, the medical staff at IVme has witnessed too many times the pain and agony suffered by runners who neglect their post-race recovery. Cellular damage, muscle soreness and fatigue, and a weakened immune system can keep runners from returning to normal activities for many weeks, and sometimes longer.
The most memorable weddings are not the ones with the most extravagant budgets, they are the ones where the bride and groom are happy, smiling and having the time of their lives.
This may sound simple, but when you consider the details and stresses that come with planning a wedding, it’s no wonder many brides and grooms reach their big day feeling rundown, exhausted, anxious and, sometimes, sick. An easy, but often overlooked solution to preventing exhaustion and illness is hydration. Unfortunately too few of us maintain healthy hydration levels during average day-to-day activities to sustain us during exceptionally busy and stressful times.
